This concept is an incubator project within Ideabytes Inc. It was started to address the need to automate testing - when it was realized the approach was applicable to provisioning. The method was developed and has a customer GroupBenefitz Inc, a TPA that uses it to provision and reconcile member enrollments and terminations.
It currently invoices 4K Cad$ monthly and is expected to exceed 100K Cad$ withing the next 12 months. This is just one small company and the problem is global.
When one approaches an Insurance company and asks to API with them, the upfront cost is significant - more of a don't bother me. With our approach, we can take any web provisioning flow and convert it to an API that is callable in a multitude of languages and is easily integrated into a web workflow. It is available as a library to be integrated into web services, or as a service.
Security is of paramount importance and our solution has incorporated this into the design.
As a service - we also provided proof of provisioning - by documenting the transaction and downloading certificates if needed - for a fee of course.
Does it work? YES! We have proven this with GroupBenefitz Inc that is using our service on a license basis and we get paid as part of the the TPA fee.
